I came to the Window Sanctuary after another window company had sold and fitted windows that were completely inappropriate for replicating the original 1920's Crittall windows, although this was the brief they had. The Window Sanctuary proved to have an entirely different approach: they could not have taken more care to ensure that every detail mirrored the Crittall originals, and that the windows were exactly what I wanted. I understand that the Window Sanctuary has generations of window making and fitting behind them, and it shows. Some of the new windows had to go into the original 1920's frames, and the WS fitting team's joinery skills were outstanding in being able to rout back the wood really carefully to make sure that the new windows had a completely solid fit. This was in contrast to the previous company's fitting team, who I can only describe as butchering the frames to get their windows in, causing a waterfall inside the windows when it rained. The Window Sanctuary are a team of very skilled craftsmen: I learned first hand how rare this is. Thank you.

The whole team from sales to survey to installation to admin are excellent - very professional, competent, courteous. And the quality of the installed windows is everything we hoped for. The sash windows for our listed property were excellently made and fitted superbly. We have used The Window Sanctuary for all the windows in the refurbishment of our house. The third installation was sliding doors in our new extension. Its team is aways very helpful in ensuring that our requirements are met and they have liaised well with our builders to provide detailed drawings. We used The Window Sanctuary for two jobs on our property, a complete replacement of windows on our barn and then on our main home. I think in total over 40 windows or so including internal doors and substantial bifolds. All in all we worked together for just under 2 years and it was totally seamless, from design stage all the way through to final installations. A great experience with The Window Sanctuary. They supplied and installed some celestial windows and roof lights to a loft conversion that we carried out. It is a period property with original sash windows and it was important to us that the new windows were in keeping with the character of the original house. We are delighted with the finished product. The customer service was very good and they were amenable when our architect got carried away and the window sizes increased quite materially from the original quotation - thereby working hard to minimise the extra costs. The quotation process was quick and efficient. Their surveyor, Steve, was very professional and also had a strong technical knowledge to help advise us during the build stage. The installation team were very professional and worked extremely hard to get the windows fitted during poor weather. The lady on the front desk, Jeannette, was also very friendly/helpful despite my numerous calls to the office throughout the process. There were a few delays but this was the result of CoVid as opposed to anything in their control, and Simon worked hard to get the order pushed through the suppliers and installed promptly. I always like to support local businesses and this one did not disappoint. Will definitely use them again going forward for any further works. Thank you.

We recently had a new front door and windows fitted. Very efficient service from start to finish with everyone extremely helpful. The fitter was very careful especially bearing in mind it was raining on the day of fitting. Would definitely recommend.
